Fairline Promotes Boat ‘SHOW’!

An underwater spectacular, featuring mermaids and other mythical sea creatures, will reach an impressive crescendo with the Russian Bar performance; an extreme acrobatics act combined with stunning choreography – a sight simply not to be missed. This is not a dream visited upon sleep deprived solo round the world sailors as they cross the equator, but rather the “jewel in the crown” of the 55th London International Boat Show!

National Boat Shows (NBS) has released plans for the Main Stage – Powered by Fairline at the Boat Show taking place from 9-18 January 2009.

In addition to ‘A Mermaid’s Tale’, the stage will present models regularly taking to the Show’s catwalk, demonstrating the latest designs in marine leisure and developments in offshore clothing.

Of course events like The London Boat Show in such times have to do what they can to get people out to East London in the middle of January, but given that the Olympics happens only once every 4 years, and given the success of Britains competitors, wouldn’t you lead with the show’s daily ‘Going for Gold’ seminars? These will offer an insight into the mechanics behind making a successful team or representatives from Skandia Team GBR taking to the stage to offer a sneak preview of their preparations for London 2012.
