The variety of events held at WPNSA, the venue for the sailing competition at the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games is rapidly expanding with new additions to this year’s calendar including the IWA Junior, Youth and Masters Windsurfing Championships, the Endurancelife Coastal Trail Series and a visit from the Farr 45’s as part of their national circuit.
Following the development works that were completed in November 2008, the facilities at the Academy now lend themselves perfectly to this wider spectrum of events. The new development works include a mini marina with a total capacity for 125 boats making it an excellent venue for hosting yacht racing events.
