A couple of Olympics ago, in the long running fight between sports apparel companies Nike and Adidas, Nike made a point of highlighting that they were sponsoring the athletes, while the Official Clothing Supplier was backing the officials. It’s a story that came to mind today as Musto (Australia) Managing Director; Duncan Curnow said that the signing of a sponsorship agreement with the Sydney International Boat Show marks the single largest sponsorship agreement undertaken by the brand each year. Curnow said Musto was delighted to have been selected to partner the show’s organising committee.

The agreement, officially signed late last week, will see the Northern Beaches-headquartered brand dress all SIBS organisers, staff and volunteers with as many as 80 individuals set to done items from Musto’s polo, jacket and shirt corporate collection. In addition, Musto will also stage a daily fashion parade showing off existing product as well as offering a view of its new season lifestyle and sailing ranges launching instore early next year.[/cleeng_content]
