" price="0.99"]Gill will be supporting the key Laser SB3 events in the UK during 2010 and 2011 including the extremely competitive Solent Series, the Torquay open and of course the National Championships to be held in Brighton in September. In addition, the UK Association will host the 2011 World Championships.

Commenting on the new partnership, Katie Ashworth, Secretary to the UK SB3 Class commented,

“We are thrilled with the package that Gill has offered the class over this two year period. The new Race Collection that Gill launched at the London Boat Show in January is perfect for sailors in the SB3 fleet.”

Bryan Stewart, Sales & Marketing Manager at Gill added,

“Gill is delighted to be associated with the premier racing class in the UK, and look forward to building a great relationship with the fleet. We are also proud to have sponsored the two leading boats in the fleet, the current world champion Craig Burlton and 2008 world champion Geoff Carveth, and are delighted to extend our relationship to the entire association.”

Gill will be providing a spread of prizes over these key events, as well as a Technical Shirt in support of the Class Association’s activities, uniquely designed for the fleet, in addition to boat branding and on-site presence at these key events.[/cleeng_content]

Good to see Gill stepping up to the plate. This year they brought their sponsorship to St. Maarten by taking over the Commodores Cup. The race, now known as The Gill Commodores Cup, is a major event in the buildup to the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta. Well done Gill.
