David Fuller, Editor at Large
David grew up in Mornington, a small town in Victoria Australia. As a child he remembers the yacht club; the storms that occasionally washed boats onto the beach, the clank of halyards againsts masts and boats with names like Rousabout. One mast was always taller than the others – Grant Warrington’s Wild Thing later gave way to Australian Skandia. Further down the coast, David sailed dinghies and catamarans, then bored with the pedestrian pace, switched to windsufing.
David has worked as a freelance travel writer and photographer, contributing to publications like TNT Magazine, ItchtyFeet and The Globe.
More recently, David was the CEO of Lateral Syncing, the specialist sports marketing and technology agency that developed screenza. During the last few years, David has developed sports marketing campaigns for NASCAR, Manchester United, The American Le Mans Series, Texaco Havoline, MotoGP and more. He is a passionate believer that sailing could be as popular and professional as other global sports. Yachtsponsorship.com is part of that campaign.
